What's a Makerspace? How does it work?
NB Makerspace is geared towards serving the community whether they have Maker expertise or just want to learn. The emphasis is on a fun all ages environment with great instruction and cutting edge tools.

We're so excited to finally offer classes, workshops, communal tools and instruction to the entire NB community! Starting this fall we will be hosting a Maker club with an emphasis on fun and social instruction in all things Making! We will be charging members monthly dues that include classes and machine time as well as an orientation on equipment use.
Be a founding member! Here are the ways you can join:
Maker Boot Camp
Learn all things MAKING. This one month course will take you through an introduction to coding, 3d printing, and all the tools you need to start your Maker journey. This orientation will cover all the basics of the tools available at the Makerspace and get you on your way to making whatever you can imagine!
After the Boot Camp you can continue on at the Makerspace in several ways:
Build Team Member
Do you like Mythbusters and Youtube videos where people do fun builds? The Build Team is for you! We will meet Saturdays and have all the tools at the Makerspace available to accomplish a different team build each month. YOU MUST FIRST PARTICIPATE IN THE BOOT CAMP ORIENTATION!~
Pro Member
Once you graduate from Boot Camp you can continue on your path as a Maker by subscribing monthly to the Maker space, giving you access to machine time, friendly and expert instruction, and classes and workshops.
