What's NB Makerspace?
What's a Maker Space? It's a place to learn to make incredible things, program, 3d print, and have fun doing it! A Maker Space makes the tools available to the public from 3d printers and other awesome gadgets, and also provides the know-how.
We host fun educational programs for kids, clubs for adults and young entrepreneurs, summer camps, parents night out, coding workshops and other STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) related activities and more!

X Carve CNC
You can make darn near anything with our X Carve CNC. (CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control). Basically we teach you how to design a model on a computer and make it with the X Carve. Materials include wood, aluminum, foam, plastic and more! Make furniture, a guitar, toys, signs, maps, countertops, chairs, art, circuit boards, and much much more :)

Cricut Vinyl Cutter
We have three 3d printers: Cubify, M3d, and Taz. We have a variety of modeling softwares to learn and use, and also a 3d scanner.
HP Sprout and 3d scanner
“FABOOL Laser Mini” is affordable, ready-to-assemble desktop laser cutter and engraver. Despite its affordability at $598, it can be used to cut and engrave various materials, and also has “Scalability” which adapts to various needs of users.
KANO and Raspberry PI
Learn to code and connect computers to the outside world, make a robot move, broadcast a radio station, even automate watering your garden. We have these incredible credit card size computer boards in stock waiting for your project to be dreamed and built!
